  I wrote this in 2005 but someone told me to post it. So here it is.
  Hopelessly looking
  Searching for something
  Just outside
  My grasp
   
  Will I ever touch
  The hem,
  Just the hem
  Where all will be healed
   
  It’s so dark
  All around me
  Scratching along
  The dirt
   
  Just a glimpse
  Of the hem
  Will do it
  And I’ll know I’m close
   
  Because once I touch
  The hem
  Of the garment
